Deep tissue massage is designed to relieve severe tension in the muscle and the connective tissue or fascia.
It is often recommended for individuals who experience consistent pain, are involved in heavy physical activity (such as athletes), and those who have sustained physical injury.
It is not uncommon for receivers of deep tissue massage to have their pain replaced with a new muscle ache for a day or two.
I have severe tension in my neck (left side) which gets extended to my left arm—having difficulties sleeping as a result. I have tried different deep tissue messages, I feel a relieving sensation for a short period of time but it goes back to square one. It started about 1 year ago.. comes and goes but has intensified over the last two months. I have gone back to the gym to work on my arms and back but hasn’t made any difference. Can you help? What makes your deep tissue massage different from others? What would be the cost of a therapy session?
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
